    Half your sugar intake.Try to drink 8 egsasls of water a day.Eat at least 5 servings of fruit or veg every day. Apples are more effective than caffeine at waking you up in the morning. Mix a fruit salad for dessert or have it with some yoghurt and/or fibrous cereal for breakfast.Eat breakfast every day, it kickstarts your metabolism.Eat more often, but smaller meals. Try to have 5 smaller meals every day instead of two or three larger ones. This way you have sustained energy and your metabolism is working at a nice pace the whole day.Don’t eat for three hours before you go to sleep. I’ve heard Oprah say this a few times and I tend to agree.Avoid processed foods and foods with lots of additives and microwave meals and fast food etc as much as possible. The fresher and wholesome looking the better, and often cheaper at the supermarket.Get your heart rate up for at least 30 mins each day.Cut back on alcohol. It has lots of empty kilojoules.
